Transportation Construction Inspector – Remote Site Locations
Inspect roadway and bridge construction projects across Pennsylvania to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety requirements. Document quality and progress through standard office tools and collaboration platforms, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. Read and interpret plans and directions in English, and coordinate with supervisors to address field issues. Perform on-site duties requiring standing up to 8 hours, navigating uneven ground, climbing ladders up to 20 feet, and using fall arrest PPE at heights. Candidates must have at least one year of PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike construction experience and hold NICET, NECEPT, PennDOT CDS NextGen, or PennDOT Concrete certifications.
