Remote Lead AI Ethics Researcher

Lead and mentor a team of AI ethics researchers to identify, analyze, and mitigate ethical risks across the AI lifecycle. Develop and refine theoretical and practical frameworks for evaluating systems on bias, fairness, explainability, accountability, privacy, and safety. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and legal teams to embed ethical considerations from design through deployment. Design, run, and publish empirical studies and evaluations to measure ethical impact and inform product roadmaps. Advise on policy development, regulatory compliance, and external stakeholder engagement to shape responsible AI practices. Create educational materials and training programs to uplift internal understanding of AI ethics and evolving research.
