Construction Estimator - Architectural Metals

Perform detailed takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings to generate accurate estimates for commercial metal fabrication projects. Prepare bids, budgets, and bid packages for complex ornamental metals, enclosures, architectural metal systems, and custom components. Analyze project specifications, scope documents, and material requirements, and coordinate with engineering, project management, and fabrication teams. Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure accurate material pricing and timely procurement. Participate in pre-bid meetings and client calls as needed, and help develop standardized estimating processes and templates. Handle multiple bids in a high-volume environment; requires 3+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with Excel, on-screen takeoff tools, or PDF markup software.
