OR Scrub Technician, Full-time, Rotating

The OR Scrub Technician supports the surgical team in the operating room, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety and aseptic standards. Responsible for gathering supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure efficient, safe surgical procedures. Maintains a sterile field throughout procedures and assists with draping, sharps handling, and instrument positioning. Manages specimens, instrumentation, and accurate counting of supplies, sutures, and sponges on the sterile field. Demonstrates thorough aseptic technique, fine motor skills, and clear communication with the surgical team; assists with orienting new staff to the OR Scrub Technician role. Provides on-call coverage as designated and participates in room turnover and setup between cases.
