The Medical Laboratory Technician PRN Blood Bank role ensures timely, accurate performance of routine, complex, and specialized lab procedures per department policy. Perform diagnostic tests, adhere to quality control standards, and document results for abnormal and critical values. Prioritize STAT and priority tests to support optimal patient care and coordinate with hospital departments. Assist with equipment evaluation, participate in orientation and training, and maintain the Laboratory Computer System usage. Maintain universal precautions, safety compliance, and adherence to lab safety protocols. Qualifications include MT or equivalent certification (or eligible) and preferred clinical lab experience; associate degree or equivalent education.
