Critical Care Technician - Clinical Decision Unit (CDU/EXAU)

Under RN supervision, assist with activities of daily living and contribute to the care plan. Perform technical duties such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and Foley catheter care. Identify changes in patient status and communicate promptly to the RN, following standard precautions. Reinforce patient and family education on care needs and safety. Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and performance improvement activities; assist with orientation and annual competencies. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges on a CDU/EXAU unit with telemetry as needed.
