Registered Nurse - Med Surg Clinical Coordinator

Serve as the Med Surg Clinical Coordinator, leading nursing operations on the medical-surgical unit during night shifts. Coordinate patient care plans, monitor progress, and oversee clinical workflows to ensure high-quality, safe patient outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and support staff to optimize throughput and resource utilization. Provide mentorship and supervision for nursing staff, including orientation, performance feedback, and ensuring compliance with standards of care. Utilize evidence-based nursing practices, document accurately, and ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements are met. Manage unit staffing, escalate critical issues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
