Surgical Technologist II

Performs the surgical scrub role across adult and pediatric OR services, supporting orthopedic procedures. Maintains aseptic technique, sterilization, instrumentation setup, and surgical counts to ensure patient safety. Assists with case cart preparation, instrument and tray setup, and compliance with surgeon preference cards and SCIP measures. Operates and troubleshoots video systems; collaborates with perioperative staff, Central Sterile Processing, anesthesia, and clinicians. Contributes to continuing education and knowledge sharing with OR technologists and CSP teams. Works in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment; demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, and on-call readiness.
