Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Solid Organ Transplant, Nights
The registered nurse coordinates comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg Solid Organ Transplant patients, delivering direct patient care and patient/family education. The role includes planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and the ANA standards. Provides leadership through precepting, formal/informal leadership, and quality improvement efforts; delegates care based on skill level, acuity, and resource availability. Requires BSN or higher from an accredited program; valid RN license; current BLS; ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call; transplant experience preferred. Schedule consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with every-other weekend and on-call duties as required.
