Coordinate domestic and international freight by routing shipments and arranging transportation, ensuring accurate bills of lading and shipping documentation. Establish standard routings for shipments not dictated by contracts or government directions, and classify freight per National Motor Freight Classification guidelines. Arrange specialized transport for classified, hazardous materials, over-dimensional items, or other non-standard shipments where standard routings do not apply. Provide routing directions to vendors for inbound freight collect shipments when online routing guides do not specify a carrier. Support training of team members and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards. Leverage SAP and Microsoft Office to manage documentation, tracking, and reporting in coordination with stakeholders to meet schedules.
