Human Resources Compliance & Risk Management Specialist
Oversee HR compliance and risk initiatives to ensure all practices align with applicable employment laws and organizational policies. Monitor federal, state, and local regulations and provide guidance to HR and leadership on compliance risks and corrective actions. Lead or support internal audits, risk assessments, and root cause analyses, with action plans tracked and evaluated for effectiveness. Develop, update, and operationalize HR policies, SOPs, and employee-facing guidance; deliver targeted compliance training. Maintain strict confidentiality, manage data accuracy in audits, and support reporting with clear dashboards for leadership. Collaborate across HR, finance, IT, facilities, and programs to strengthen controls, incident response, and continuous improvement.
