Senior Accountant

Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead month-end close and deliver accurate financial reporting for a nonprofit-focused organization in New York, NY. Oversee balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and create and post journal entries to support the general ledger. Manage accounts payable processes and ensure adherence to organizational policies and controls. Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation for internal and external reviews.
