Associate Director, Accounting Process Improvement and Optimization

Lead standardization and optimization of accounting workflows across the organization, partnering with business unit controllers to improve efficiency, accuracy, and US GAAP compliance. Develop and manage a robust backlog of process improvement projects, driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives and automation within the controllership function. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including accruals, reserves, unusual transactions, and maintenance of internal controls. Collaborate with segment and division controllers and accounting teams to ensure consistent execution of procedures and accurate ERP outputs (SAP/HANA S4, JDE or similar). Lead and develop the Accounting Process Improvement and Optimization team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and strategic direction. Communicate proposed changes and benefits to senior finance leadership and coordinate with auditors for quarterly reviews and integrated audits.
