Veteran Medical Assistant Trainee

Supports clinical teams in delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care. Participates in planning and preparing for patient visits, ensuring scheduling and test results meet clinic requirements. Rooms patients and documents chief complaint, vital signs, allergies, medications, and other relevant information. Performs appropriate testing and procedures (hearing/vision, EKG, spirometry, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection) as competency validates. Prepares and stocks exam rooms, handles routine clerical duties, and assists with referrals and follow-ups while upholding HIPAA privacy. Requires military medical training (MOS/DD214) and Basic Life Support, with prior Medic/Medical Assistant experience.
