Chief Privacy and Compliance Officer

Lead the design and execution of a scalable privacy and compliance program for a fast-moving health tech startup. Serve as the Privacy Officer and Compliance Officer, shaping policies, data governance, and risk management aligned with HIPAA, HITECH, and CCPA. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and other functions to embed privacy into the product lifecycle and reduce regulatory risk. Own privacy impact assessments, incident response planning, data breach mitigation, and ongoing regulatory monitoring. Drive audits and third-party compliance programs (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST) and deliver training for organization-wide readiness. Provide strategic guidance to leadership and governance bodies, balancing compliant operations with fast, innovative product delivery.
