Counsel (Privacy & Cybersecurity)

Provide pragmatic, proactive legal guidance on privacy and cybersecurity to support product, engineering, and business teams. Stay current on U.S. privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, translating complex requirements into actionable guidance. Collaborate with privacy, data governance, and AI governance stakeholders to develop and maintain an effective operational privacy program. Draft, refine, and negotiate data protection agreements, notices, consents, and terms of use with an emphasis on clarity and transparency. Advise on privacy-by-design for new features and initiatives, manage privacy rights requests, data retention/minimization, and incident response support. Lead or support governance efforts, risk assessments, training, and cross-functional initiatives to advance our privacy and cybersecurity posture.
