Administrative Assistant I
Provide administrative support by organizing and maintaining data related to case assignments, including validating data, calendars, deadlines, and assignments in various databases. Collect data from client agencies, courts, attorneys, and other legal professionals and perform timely scanning and data entry/docketing into the department's databases. Handle routine office tasks, update and protect confidential information, and draft a variety of correspondence, reports, notices, and forms. Utilize computers and Microsoft Office applications to generate databases, spreadsheets, and word processing documents. Demonstrate clear oral and written communication, prioritize under deadlines, and work effectively as part of a team while adapting to interruptions. Learn basic legal terminology, perform detailed work with accuracy, exercise good judgment with sensitive information, and plan multiple activities with appropriate priorities.
