Understand clients' needs, business, and industry, including accounting and control systems. Assess risks and evaluate internal control structures to identify issues. Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to resolve accounting or reporting problems. Develop familiarity with audit automation approaches and ERP tools used by clients. Prepare financial statements in prescribed formats for review. Collaborate with clients and teams to ensure compliance with GAAP/GAAS and related standards.
