RN PreOp/PACU

The RN PreOp/PACU provides high-quality patient care across preoperative and PACU stages using the nursing process and the plan of care. In the OR, the RN delivers nursing care during surgery, circulating and supporting the team while positioning and prepping the patient. Responsibilities include proper patient positioning, prepping, monitoring, and ensuring a safe perioperative flow. The role supports postoperative recovery in PACU, addressing patient needs, pain management, and readiness for discharge. Requires current nursing licensure, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of two years in a hospital setting; BSN preferred. Strong communication, organization, adaptability, and commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement are essential.
