Inpatient Physical Therapist

Provide direct, patient-centered physical therapy to inpatients across the lifespan in an acute care setting. Perform comprehensive assessments, design evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver interventions such as gait training and therapeutic exercises. Document accurately to justify medical necessity and support billing, while maintaining regulatory compliance. Educate patients, families, and caregivers and participate in discharge planning and care coordination. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, contribute to department operations, and pursue ongoing professional development. Maintain licensure and adhere to state and professional standards while meeting productivity expectations.
