IT Cybersecurity Specialist

As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist on the CORA team, you will perform advanced security assessments using STIGs to strengthen national cyber defense. Conduct onsite inspections at contractor facilities in line with DoD industrial security policies and safeguarding classified information. Evaluate technical and operational risks across IT environments—networks, systems, applications, and infrastructure. Review authorization and assurance documents to ensure risk remains within acceptable limits for software, systems, and networks. Provide precise technical evaluations detailing security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against relevant cybersecurity standards. Grow specialized expertise, shape risk-mitigation solutions, and support mission-critical security operations.
