Accountant - Nonprofit

Seeking a detail-oriented Nonprofit Accountant to manage multi-client financials, month-end close, and internal controls. You’ll design and implement effective accounting processes, reconcile balance sheets, and oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll with compliance. Collaborate with Controllers and CFOs to deliver proactive financial management and strategic insights to mission-driven nonprofits. Responsibilities include maintaining charts of accounts, performing month-end close, monitoring budget variances, and ensuring fraud prevention. Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and other software, manage multiple client relationships, and meet weekly billable targets.
