Apprentice Electrician

Under supervision of a Journeyman, assist in installing, altering, adding, and repairing commercial electrical systems. Gather tools and supplies, measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, and trace short circuits. Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors; mount and strap conduit. Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean, organized, and free of scrap. May operate hand tools under direct supervision and assist with installations, connections, and terminations; not work on energized circuits. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, multitasking ability, strong communication, and positive customer service; experience in lighting is a plus.
