General Laborer - Construction (Public Works) - 7514 TPV

Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of manual labor tasks on construction, maintenance, wrecking, and repair projects. Duties include excavating trenches, backfilling, compaction, and potholing mains for water, sewer, and electrical work. You will operate mowing equipment, perform traffic control duties, and assist in setting up barricades and signs. You will clear vegetation, widen pathways, and install fencing while supporting crews with loading and unloading materials. Work may involve cleaning catch basins, septic tanks, and sewer facilities, including confined-space tasks. You will use a range of tools and equipment, assist with concrete and asphalt applications, street cleaning, and reporting forms.
