Financial Auditor I
Contribute to financial and compliance audits of state agencies, counties, universities, and community college districts following AICPA GAAS, GAO GAGAS, and other federal auditing requirements. Perform planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting with a focus on evaluating internal controls and ensuring accuracy and reliability of financial information. Occasional travel to audit locations to gather evidence and collaborate with client teams. Prepare clear audit reports and management recommendations to improve operations and compliance. Apply strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and communication skills; work effectively in teams and manage time to meet deadlines. Requirements include a bachelor's or master's degree with 24 accounting hours, CPA preferred, valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain E-Verify clearance.
