Telecommunications and Cybersecurity Engineer (Multiple Levels)

Lead and support telecommunications engineering and cybersecurity activities for a nationwide public safety broadband network (NPSBN) to ensure secure, reliable mobile communications for emergency responders. Analyze 4G/LTE and 5G deployments, performance, coverage, and usage; deliver recommendations to improve network efficiency and program outcomes. Create white papers, technical analyses, and coverage reports; validate coverage maps and drive-test data; identify gaps and outline corrective actions. Evaluate industry software and systems, assess cybersecurity controls, and verify implementation against standards and compliance requirements. Apply project management best practices, manage risks, track milestones, and coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. Communicate findings to diverse audiences and collaborate across disciplines to advance nationwide public safety communications.
