Medical Assistant I/II/III - Colorectal Department - Sugar Land/Bellaire Area

Based in the Sugar Land clinic with occasional travel to Bellaire and the Medical Center, this Medical Assistant supports the colorectal team. Functions as a clinical team member delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care, with bilingual preferred. Grooms patient flow by rooming, documenting chief complaint, vital signs, medication list, allergies, and visit reason; informs patients of delays. Performs or assists with hearing and vision testing, EKG, spirometry, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and routine/specialty procedures as competency allows. Prepares and stocks rooms, cleans/reprocesses equipment, and handles scheduling, follow-ups, and clerical duties. Maintains HIPAA privacy/professionalism and holds a high school diploma or MA training, with BLS and six months' experience.
